This piece was for an assignment focused around capturing audio and getting experience in an interview setting. This project was the culmination of all I learned throughout the semester and I was expected to use basic video techniques like close ups, waist shots, and B-roll to capture a cohesive and informative story.
To do this successfully I shot the interview multiple times from multiple angles, as well as followed Darin around town to capture what a typical day is like for him. I kept a lot of the B-roll within downtown Medicine Hat because he focuses a lot of his efforts in making that area of the city a safer and more welcoming place.
